How can I access the New York Times besides using the institutional pass?

Answer

The New York Times is available in full-text from 1980 to the present on Nexis Uni. Nexis only includes html text and not images or any other interactive content you might be able to find on the New York Times website. To access full content you will have to activate your institutional pass.

In Nexis you can type "New York Times" in the search bar and select the source from the options that will appear while you type.

The New York Times will now appear as the selected source to be searched. Then you can type keywords or exact titles of the articles you are interested in.
