How do I validate an educator account on the Harvard Business Publishing Education platform?

To create a free educator account on the Harvard Business Publishing Education platform, you need to create first an account by selecting the “educator” option and then filling out the form appropriately. All fields in the form are mandatory, including the one about the university where one is currently teaching (by typing John Cabot University the field will be automatically populated with the right name).

 

Once the account has been created, a confirmation email will be sent to the email used (it is probably best to use the JCU email address right away). After receiving the confirmation email, the teacher status must be verified by clicking on the appropriate button. This will prompt the professor to authenticate with JCU credentials after which SheerID must be authorized. At the end of the procedure, which takes 5 minutes, the educator account will be fully active and you will be able to access all the HBP teaching materials for free.

 

It is important to mention that these materials are for free only for educators and they cannot be printed, shared or posted anywhere. If you would like to use these materials in class, you have to create a coursepack providing a start and end date and selecting “student pay” as payment option since each individual student will have to pay for their own coursepacks. You will then get a URL to send to students to access the coursepack.
