What type of materials can I request as interlibrary loan?

Answer

Interlibrary Loans are intended exclusively for book materials in print format. Typically libraries do not lend the following items:

  • Ebooks
  • Media (DVDs, CDs, etc.)
  • Textbooks
  • Old and rare books
  • Theses
  • Issues of journals
  • Non book materials

Textbooks used in JCU courses cannot be requested as interlibrary loans. Books that are indicated as textbooks in course syllabus are intended for the students to purchase.
